17 MPs of the country will be awarded the Parliament Ratna Award 2025

New Delhi

17 MPs and 2 parliamentary permanent committees who have made remarkable contribution to Parliament have been selected for the Parliament Ratna Award 2025. These awards are given on the basis of activism in Parliament, participation in debate, asking questions and contribution to legislative functioning. The award has been launched by the Prime Point Foundation. The winners of this year were selected by the Jury Committee, which was chaired by Hansraj Ahir, (Chairman of the National Backward Classes Commission). He said that these awards are given to MPs who have made outstanding contribution in Parliament to strengthen democracy.

For continuous outstanding work- special respect to four MPs
Four MPs will be specially honored for outstanding and sustainable contribution in parliamentary democracy. According to the Prime Point Foundation, these four MPs have also been among the best performances in Parliament in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha and are continuously active in their current term.

This committee has made concrete suggestions in the Parliament on the problems of farmers and agricultural reforms.

What is Parliament Ratna Award?
The Parliament Ratna Award was started in 2010 and the awards are given to MPs who are active in Parliament to strengthen transparency, accountability and democratic values. It aims to encourage MPs and popularize parliamentary proceedings among the public.
