After many parts of Asia including Hong Kong and Singapore, now new cases of Kovid-19 have started coming up in many cities of India. After this, the health department of the country has been alerted. The emergence of Corona infection is constantly being monitored and precautionary steps are being taken to prevent the infection from increasing where new cases have been registered. Currently, new cases of Corona have been reported in cities like Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad in India.

Case increased in Maharashtra, 50 beds reserved in Pune
According to the data of Maharashtra Health Department, 95 new cases of Kovid-19 have been registered in Mumbai alone in the month of May. About 16 of these people are undergoing treatment in the hospital and most have been shifted from Mumbai KEM Hospital to Seven Hills Hospital. With this, the total number of cases of corona infection in the state has increased to 106 since January. In view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19, a precautionary corona of all patients with influenza and respiratory infection is being investigated here. The local bodies of Pune are on alert mode after the new case of Corona in Maharashtra. According to the health officials of the municipal corporation, in May, an 87-year-old man was found to be infection of Kovid-19, it has now been cured. At present, there is no active case of Kovid in Pune but 50 beds have been reserved for Kovid-19 patients at the precautionary Naidu Hospital. Dr. Nina Borade, Head of Health Head of Pune Municipal Corporation informed that the guidelines are being awaited for the currently not being conducted in civil hospitals.

New cases also in Puducherry, Karnataka and Gujarat
12 new cases have also been reported in Union Territory of Puducherry. According to Chennai physicians, the first fever patients who were considered to be the patient of influenza are being investigated after the new case of Kovid. In some hospitals, important operations like heart and organ transplantation are also being avoided. At the same time, Public Health Director Dr. T.S. Selvavinayam has advised to take measures like masks at crowded places instead of nervous with people.

New cases of Corona have also been registered in Karnataka and Gujarat. Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has said in a statement that there are 16 active cases of Kovid-19 in Karnataka. Whereas in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the officials have increased the surveillance after seven new cases surfaced in a single day. All the patients are in isolation in their homes. Authorities have sent their samples for genomic testing. Let me tell you that an average of a Kovid case was coming in Ahmedabad every month for a year, but after suddenly 7 cases, the officials have been alerted.

Experts advice for rescue
According to experts, earlier the World Health Organization (WHO) had announced the end of the Korona epidemic in May 2023, but only a small number of cases were coming up. The cases that have been reported so far in India are light and not of serious nature. Yet the elderly, pregnant women and people struggling with serious health problems should wear masks in crowded places. Also, after touching things outside the house, one should get used to washing hands and influenza should also be vaccinated.
