Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw attended the two -day Virat Sant Samagam held at Kabir Ashram in Selud in Patan development block of Durg district as the chief guest. MP Shri Vijay Baghel also attended this Sant Samagam organized by Vedantacharya Mahant Sukrit Das Shastri, the head of Kabir Ashram and Sahitya Vedantacharya Mahant Sukrit Das Shastri. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saw announced 25 lakh rupees for the construction of Dome in the venue of the ashram on the demand of the saints. He also assured to fulfill other demands of the ashram.

Addressing the Sant Samagam, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that saints give guidance to the society. Saint Kabir has described the conduct of living life. His speech is still relevant today. Those who believe them are all over the country. In this ashram, you are engaged in spreading Kabir's thoughts to the people even in the midst of many types of deprivation. He said that all of you are making people aware by spreading the voice of Saint Kabir to the people. For the progress of the country, society is necessary to be aware. Today, the state government and the central government together have been working to raise the economic level of the people and to make every family self-reliant. This work will also be completed with the blessings of saints.
MP Shri Vijay Baghel said in Sant Samagam that Sant Samagam has been organized in this ashram for the last 60 years. He greeted all the saints and said that I have received blessings of the ashram. God lived in Kabir's speech. Kabir's speech is still alive today. We all have to assimilate the path of Kabir in life. He assured to complete the construction of bathing and toilets in the ashram soon. Local public representatives and followers of Sant Kabir, including Shri Tahl Singh Sahu, the state president of Shri Parameshwar Saheb, Shri Bhupat Saheb and Sahu Samaj, attended a large number of followers in the Sant Samagam.
